Article reflection

  1. Apeture. It helps control the flash and light in the image to make it not to bright or dark.

2. The light source. It helps open up ways you can go about creating your image.

3. The model. The model is the focal point so they will need to know what to do according to each flash.

4. Practice. Take multiple shots to try and achieve what i want the final product to look like.

5. Small steps. Because it helps get you and your model comfortable with what needs to happen to make the pictures look great and not messy.

6. have an extra person on hand to control the flash and you control the camera.

7. When editing Clarity in LR will help clean up and make my images cleaner.

8. Use a black or grey background to keep it from overriding the subject/model.

9. Set a timer on the camera so that you can control the flash and get what you want for the image.

10. Have a tripod setup so that your images are clear and not blurry from your movement while shooting.

Iconic Photos and Lighting

David Bowie:

-The light source is mainly a studio light,

-It is a full flood lighting effect so directly in front of him.

-I was thinking i could take some face paint from my tech theatre director and do the lighting strike and pull my hair back and then just mimic him.

-Camera is positioned a foot or two in front of him.

-facing forward, shoulders tensed, chin down, eyes wide, and mouth slightly a gape.

Neck Girl:

-Light is above her pointing down.

-It is a cross of natural and studio light.

-Camera is To her side.

-she is too the side with her neck arched and eyes closed seemingly relaxed.
